With that, a touch of admiration comes for these addictions, like a seducer however, they are enchanting but dangerous. Our technique to dethroning them must be calculated to ensure victory for this sneaky adversary. This is a 1 hour class designed to equip you with knowledge about how addictions are formed, as well as some tools for managing them. Itinerary: - 5 min guided meditation to settle your nerves before class begins - We're going to go over the different ways Addiction can manifest in our lives, as it is not as narrow as Alcohol, Drugs, or Gambling. - We will then discuss attachment styles to our addictions, and go over why they were created, how they provided comfort, and discuss when deeply liking something turns into an addiction. - In the last section, methods to both heal and handle addiction long term are discussed. - In the last 10-15 minutes, we will do a Q&A, as well as have an opportunity for the students to discuss some methods they tried, what worked, and what didn't. This will allow us strengthen the unity of a group of people coming together to work on themselves, ending on a empowering note!
